Slovenia fully supports Serbia’s EU integrations and is ready to extend concrete assistance on that course, Slovenian President Danilo Tirk said. At this moment it is difficult to assess if Serbia will get a date for the commencement of talks on EU accession in addition to the candidate status, he siad. That depends on the report of the European Commission and its assessment whether Serbia has met all the criteria, he stressed. He commended Serbia for arresting Ratko Mladic, but added that the European Commission expects the fulfillment of many criteria, especially judicial reforms and battle against corruption.
