Srbijagas reports profit decline and reduced debt in 2024 amid revenue growth

In 2024, Srbijagas recorded a net profit of 8.37 billion dinars (approximately €71.6 million), down nearly one-third from 12 billion dinars (€102.7 million) in 2023. The company’s total debt stood at €654.5 million, with €495.7 million related to long-term loans guaranteed by the state.

Business revenues reached nearly 182 billion dinars in 2024, marking a 5% increase from 174.2 billion dinars in 2023.

According to the financial report, the debt structure includes €495.7 million from long-term loans with state guarantees, €82.7 million from long-term loans without state guarantees, and €76.1 million from short-term loans without state guarantees (including €42.7 million in loans from the Republic of Serbia).

At the end of 2023, Srbijagas’s debt was €1.095 billion, consisting of €675 million in long-term loans with state guarantees, €113.5 million in long-term loans without guarantees, and €306.7 million in short-term loans without guarantees (including €281.7 million from the Republic of Serbia).

The company’s largest liabilities are toward domestic suppliers, totaling 8.9 billion dinars, primarily for contractors working on investment projects such as municipal gasification. Liabilities to foreign suppliers are much smaller.

Srbijagas had no overdue unpaid obligations toward Jugorosgas as of December 31, 2024. The company employed 935 people at that time.

The total gross payroll fund amounted to 1.52 billion dinars, with a net payroll fund of 1.09 billion dinars. The average gross salary was 138,700 dinars, and the average net salary was 99,800 dinars.

Total compensation for the work of the Supervisory Board members amounted to 7.2 million dinars, while the Audit Committee members received 2.9 million dinars.

General Director Dušan Bajatović’s monthly net income is 239,802 dinars. Additionally, he earns significant income from other leadership roles in affiliated companies, including over 1.4 million dinars per month as a member of the Jugorosgas Supervisory Board, 586,000 dinars as chairman of the Banatski Dvor Gas Storage Supervisory Board, and 1.7 million dinars as director of Gastrans Ltd.

For 2024, the total gross payroll fund for Srbijagas’s management was 28.3 million dinars, with a net payroll fund of 20.1 million dinars. The average gross salary for management was 337,300 dinars, and the average net salary was 239,000 dinars.
