During the ongoing SIA 2025 Agricultural Fair in Paris, State Secretary Pavićević met with the French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Anne Genévar. The discussion emphasized the significant bilateral trade relations between Serbia and France, with a shared commitment to further strengthening their partnership in agriculture.
Following the meeting, Pavićević held three additional talks with representatives from leading organizations in the dairy production, planting material, and viticulture sectors. In these meetings, Pavićević highlighted Serbia’s achievements and progress in these fields, detailing key initiatives and efforts made to further develop these sectors. The French representatives expressed interest in visiting Serbia to explore collaboration opportunities and new projects that would benefit both countries.
The SIA 2025 Agricultural Fair, running from February 22 to March 2, 2025, in Paris, is a major international event in the agricultural sector, attracting over 600,000 visitors annually. It serves as a meeting place for key stakeholders from the agricultural world, not only in France but globally. The fair features breeders, local farmers, regions, professional organizations, agricultural unions, ministries and research institutes.
At the fair, four key agricultural sectors will be highlighted: livestock production and its sub-sectors; arable farming, herbs, and gardening; regional products from across France and its overseas territories, as well as from other parts of the world; and agricultural services and professions.
