Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with a delegation of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) about changes to the Law on planning and construction.
Mihajlovic announced that cooperation with the USAID in the implementation of regulations in the field of planning and construction will be continued even after the bill on changes to this law, which will be submitted to the parliament in July, is adopted.
Director of the USAID Business Enabling Project Joseph Lowther commended the progress in the preparation of this important reform law, which should enable a speedier issuance of construction permits in Serbia.
Lowther said that the USAID can provide assistance even after the law is adopted and pointed to the importance of its efficient implementation.
