Croatian-founded tech company Farseer, a platform focused on financial planning tools for mid-sized and large enterprises, has closed a Series A funding round of $7.2 million, led by AYMO Ventures with continued support from SQ Capital, and plans to expand its team with specialist hires in Serbia as part of the next phase of growth.
The new capital will be used to accelerate product development, enhance the company’s proprietary database technology — known internally as Rama DB — and build out advanced artificial intelligence-enabled features of the Farseer platform. In addition to engineering roles, Farseer is recruiting technical consultants for complex system implementations, along with business development, sales, and marketing professionals.
Farseer’s platform is designed to provide a more dynamic and scalable alternative to traditional spreadsheet-based financial planning workflows, which remain prevalent in many corporate environments. The company’s leadership has emphasised that remote work arrangements will allow Serbia-based developers and consultants to contribute to ongoing product innovation without relocating.
The fundraising milestone reflects broader investor interest in regional software companies with scalable products targeting enterprise use cases, and positions Farseer for accelerated expansion across European and international markets.
