Sberbank Serbia intends to buy Telenor Bank in Serbia, and negotiations on the price and terms of the transaction are nearing completion, reports daily Blic. Thus, the first online and mobile bank in the Balkans, owned by Telenor Group, could pass to the Russians, who in recent years have become important players in the Serbian financial market. Telenor Bank opened 300,000 accounts in less than three years of business.
