The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Belgrade proposed to the Government of Serbia that in all institutions and enterprises founded by the state, as soon as possible, reduced working hours should be introduced, due to the huge savings in energy and energy products, with the proposal that all private employers should also be invited to shorten their working hours, for the most two hours, “Politika” learns.

In the request that the union sent to Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and the Mayor of Belgrade, it was indicated that this proposal should be implemented wherever feasible, and only on the condition that the employees’ monthly wages are not reduced, Politika reports.
