President Aleksandar Vucic says that the budget of Serbia is healthy, as well as the complete fiscal and monetary system, and that it is fully prepared to withstand measures to help the economy, as well as investment plans.
– Do we have a more difficult situation today in the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund and the RHIF? Of course we have – it’s corona. There is no country in Europe that has not drastically borrowed, and we keep it under control – said Vucic.
He stated that the public debt rate jumped in all countries, that Belgium was at 120 percent of public debt in relation to GDP, and that “unsuccessful Serbia” was at 57 percent of GDP.
– All measures to help the economy and everything that is planned to be done, when we do that, we will be at 60 percent of the public debt – he concluded, Srbija Danas reports.
