The Arab company DP World announced new investments in Serbia

The CEO of DP World from the United Arab Emirates, Sultan Bin Sulayem, announced interest in investing in free zones and intermodal terminals in Serbia in order to improve the efficiency and sustainability of goods transport, during a meeting with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic.
The company, which is a global leader in smart logistics and manages ports and terminals in 61 countries on six continents around the world, has been the owner of the Port of Novi Sad since 2019.
– Our investment in Novi Sad, which will soon amount to 35 million euros, will become very visible in the coming months and years. The new port crane, grain silos and vertical quay in the port will bring us to a very strong position and I am very much looking forward to the renovation of the new passenger terminal that we will hand over to the city of Novi Sad later this year – said Sultan Bin Sulayem who also visited the Port of Novi Sad.
