The export of goods from Serbia in August was 5.5 percent higher

In August of this year, goods worth 2.376 billion dollars were exported from Serbia, which is 5.5 percent more compared to the same month of the previous year, while imports amounted to 3.010 billion dollars and was 3.3 percent less than one year before, the Republic Institute of Statistics announced today.

Expressed in euros, goods worth 2.176 billion were exported, which represents a decrease of 1.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

Imports amounted to 2.757 billion euros, 9.9 percent less than in August 2022.

Calculated in dollars, the seasonally adjusted index for August 2023, July 2023 shows a drop in exports by 0.4 percent and an increase in imports by 0.8 percent.

Calculated in euros, the seasonally adjusted index for August 2023, July 2023 shows a growth of exports by 0.9 percent and a growth of imports by 1.9 percent.
