The Janaf pipeline continues to deliver oil to NIS

The company Jadranski naftovod (Janaf) announced today that it will continue with normal deliveries of oil to the Oil Industry of Serbia in accordance with the contract it has with the company. “The Council Regulation (EU) of April 8, 2022 on restrictive measures with regard to Russia’s actions destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, enabled the continuation of the implementation of the Crude Oil Transport Agreement concluded by Janaf dd with NIS for a period of 1. January to December 31, 2022 “, it is stated in the announcement of that company, reports Tanjug.

This agreement reserved Janaf’s transport capacities on a “full for empty” basis in the total amount of 3.2 million tons plus / minus 10 percent, and after May 15, in accordance with the conditions prescribed by the said Regulation. The Janaf company will continue to monitor the development of events on a daily basis, as well as the measures of the Government of Croatia, the EU and the competent institutions, it is added in the announcement.

According to the EU regulation, Serbia is exempted from the package of restrictive measures of Brussels, which refer to the import of oil and gas from Russia, Politika reports.
