The number of vehicles that passed through Serbia reached 31.3 million by mid-July, which represents a year-on-year growth of about 30 percent, and an increase of ten percent compared to 2019, reports RTS.
By the end of 2019, a total of 37.5 million vehicles passed through Serbia, and the decline recorded during last year’s corona crisis, from the end of spring to autumn, has already been compensated, said Nikolina Arbutina from the Public Company “Roads of Serbia”.
“Until the middle of July, we will collect 138.7 million euros from tolls, which is 29 percent more than in the previous year, and 28 percent more than in 2019,” said Arbutina, Novi Magazin reports.
