The payment of monetary support to young people aged 16 to 29 in the amount of RSD 5,000 each will start on December 16, announced today the Minister of Finance Siniša Mali.

“Applications will last from December 1 to 15, 2022,” said Mali in response to questions on Instagram.

All young people who wish to receive this type of assistance must apply to the Treasury Department, regardless of whether they have applied before.

Everyone who meets the requirements must apply, except recipients of financial social assistance and persons in institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions.

The procedure will be the same as for the previous two state grants for young people, which were from the beginning of this year, twice for 100 euros, in February and June.

Citizens of Serbia who, at the time of application, are between the ages of 16 and 29, reside in the territory of Serbia and have a valid ID card are eligible to apply.

Anyone who has reached the age of 16 by the start of the application, but who has not reached the age of 30 by that date, can apply, reports Tanjug.
