The Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS) and the Hungarian Tourist Agency signed an agreement on cooperation in Budapest, which envisages the joint attraction of foreign tourists from distant destinations.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will present themselves in distant markets, such as China and Russia, with joint tourist programs and offers, TOS announced.
Serbia and Hungary will also create a new, joint tourist product that will include destinations on both sides of the state border, “and will be more competitive on the world tourist market.”
The document was signed by the acting director of TOS, Marija Labovic, and the deputy general director of the Hungarian Tourist Agency, Laszlo Kenjid.
Labovic emphasized the importance of promoting the joint tourist product of both countries on the markets of Japan, Southeast Asia, the USA, Canada, etc.
Kenjid pointed out that the long pause in tourism work, caused by the corona virus pandemic, has taught everyone how important joint work and cooperation are, N1 reports.
