The director of the electricity exchange in Serbia and Southeast Europe, Sepex Miloš Mladenović, said today that the average price of electricity from the beginning of August to today has jumped to 390 euros per megawatt, and according to his estimates, next year it will be from 400 to 450 euros.

“The trend will certainly continue until the end of this year and next year, and it is estimated that it will continue for the next three years as well,” Mladenović said in Jutarnji dnevnik to Radio-television of Serbia.

He stated that France is “almost in a catastrophic situation”, because the prices exceeded 1,000 euros per megawatt.
