In December 2024, Serbia saw a notable increase in tourism compared to the previous year. The number of tourist arrivals rose by 5.8%, while overnight stays saw an 8.1% increase, according to the latest data from the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS).
Specifically, the number of overnight stays by domestic tourists grew by 6.8%, while foreign tourists contributed to a higher increase, with their overnight stays rising by 9.2%. These figures reflect a positive trend in the tourism sector and highlight Serbia’s growing appeal as a travel destination.
