Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, paid a special visit to the exhibition stand of “Jugoimport-SDPR” at the 17th International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025) in Abu Dhabi. As the integrator of Serbia’s defense industry, Jugoimport-SDPR presented the development and production programs of Serbia’s defense sector to the UAE president.
During the visit, the latest advancements in military technology were showcased, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in the defense industry.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed interest in Serbia’s kamikaze drones.
The exhibition stand was also visited by Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
IDEX, one of the largest and most internationally significant arms and military equipment exhibitions in the world, officially opened in Abu Dhabi on Monday. It is the only event in the Middle East and North Africa region showcasing the most advanced technologies for all branches of armed forces.
Jugoimport has been consistently participating in this exhibition since 2003. As the integrator of Serbia’s defense industry, its goal is to present the capabilities and new achievements in weapons and military equipment, not only from its own development and production but also from the Serbian defense industry’s production program.
