Serbian Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Kori Udovički said at a panel discussion on Serbia’s EU integrations in Berlin that comprehensive public administration reforms and fiscal consolidation entailing some unpleasant measures were ahead of Serbia. Serbia is at a turning-point, she said, adding it is necessary to control public sector incomes and to rationalize the state as such, whereas pensions will be reduced only if necessary. At the same gathering, Economy Minister Dušan Vujović said it was time for Serbia to introduce order into its macroeconomic situation, adopt the necessary laws and offer conditions to potential investors.
