In association with the European Agency for DKMT Development and Hungarian and Serbian national railway companies, the Provincial Secretariat for Economy plans to have Szeged-Roszke-Horgos-Subotica-Csikeria-Bacsalamas-Baja railway reconstructed and modernized. This railway section is an integral part of the railway Corridor 10.

Reconstruction of the railway would result in formation of a railway link between pan-European corridors IV, V, VII, thus enabling a safe and reliable rail transport.
An open competition for preparation of the feasibility study for that railway is underway and up to EUR 300,000 is planned to be granted for that purpose.
