The Government of Vojvodina has allocated 110 million dinars to support the agricultural processing industry and an additional 14 million dinars to promote the development of organic production.
In the organic production sector, the funds will primarily be used to purchase machinery and equipment, which will help modernize farms and improve efficiency. Since 2017, the provincial government has invested a total of 87 million dinars in this area, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to sustainable agriculture.
In the processing industry, 65 contracts have been signed to co-finance equipment for processing primary agricultural products. This includes activities such as the processing of milk, meat, fruits, vegetables, honey, as well as wine and brandy production throughout Vojvodina. Over the past four years, 357 million dinars has already been allocated for these purposes through 352 signed contracts, reflecting a long-term strategy to strengthen this important industrial sector.
