The sale of the historic Industrija piva i sokova – Vršačke pivare, which has been in bankruptcy since 2010, is once again up for bidding. The price has been significantly reduced from 196.18 million dinars in December 2024 to 137.32 million dinars for the upcoming sale on January 31, 2025.

The sale includes the brewery’s entire property, which spans an area of 16,473 m² in Vršac. This includes the factory circuit, real estate, infrastructure, production and bottling equipment, and stock of raw materials and packaging. Also included are receivables, shares in AD “Milenijum” from Vršac, and a share in the capital of “Pivare i Sladare” from Belgrade. Potential rights to land associated with the existing real estate are also part of the sale.

Despite the brewery’s long and rich history, having been founded in 1710 as the oldest brewery in Serbia, its future remains uncertain after years in bankruptcy. The sale is set to take place through public bidding, and interested parties can obtain further details on the Agency’s official website.
