Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic Friday met with the new IMF resident representative in Serbia Sebastian Sosa, who said the IMF supported the objectives Serbia had set for itself.

The cooperation with the IMF has been good to date – the institution has provided much assistance to Serbia in the reform process and the good cooperation will continue, Mihajlovic said.

Mihajlovic briefed Sosa on Serbian government priorities within the responsibility of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the results achieved in the reforms so far, in particular in the Serbian Railways and the construction sector, as well as on plans to continue on Serbia’s European path, Mihajlovic’s office said in a statement.
