Supported byClarion Owner's Engineer

This week, the Novi Sad Product Exchange recorded a total turnover of 5,716 tons of goods, with a financial volume of approximately 141 million dinars. Feed barley dominated the market, accounting for 35% of the total traded volume.

On the corn market, supply exceeded demand. Buyers mainly consisted of merchants and regional exporters, while there was no interest from exporters using Danube ports. Corn contracts were traded between 24.50 and 25.50 dinars per kilogram (excluding VAT), with a weighted average price of 24.68 dinars/kg (27.14 dinars/kg with VAT), marking a 0.64% decrease compared to the previous week.

The wheat market started the week with abundant supply but weak demand. Midweek brought increased buying interest, though differences in price expectations hindered many deals. Wheat traded between 20.20 and 20.70 dinars/kg without VAT, with a weighted price of 20.58 dinars/kg (22.63 dinars/kg with VAT), which is 0.96% higher than the week before.

Soybean trading remained weak due to a large price gap between buyers and sellers. Contracts were signed between 52.80 and 53.00 dinars/kg excluding VAT, with a weighted average of 52.90 dinars/kg (58.19 dinars/kg with VAT), down 1.89% from previous data.

Feed barley saw strong supply early in the week, meeting demand mainly in the first few days. The trading price was 20.50 dinars/kg without VAT (22.55 dinars/kg with VAT), slightly up by 0.18% from last week. However, buyer withdrawal led to no trades during the latter half of the week.
