The president of the municipality, Dejan Kovacevic, stated that the plan was to move the cargo traffic from the city center to the access route, once it’s built, the main road and the highway, so that companies would make proper use of the Milos Veliki highway, the Glas Zapadne Srbije portal reports.
The Detailed Regulation Plan of the Gornji Milanovac-Takovo Interchange, a route which will consist of a section between Tenk and Klaticevo, 4.7 kilometers long, and a reconstructed route from Klaticevo to Takovo, 5.3 kilometers long, has been presented at the Municipality of Gornji Milanovac.
The director of the Institute of Transportation CIP, Milutin Ignjatovic, pointed out that the works should start in April on the land owned by the municipality.
– Of the total length of 10 kilometers, five kilometers belong to the existing road, which we will reconstruct. We will straighten the bends, expand the road and put up flanks. The aim is for every house to have access to this road. The rest of the section will be new and go through meadows, not requiring the tearing down of any structure. The road will be able very resilient – Ignjatovic said.
