Year-on-year inflation in Serbia in March was 9.1 percent

In Serbia, in March this year, the monthly inflation was 0.8 percent, and the annual inflation was 9.1 percent, the Republic Statistical Office announced. Consumer prices, which measure inflation compared to December 2021, increased by 2 on average 8 percent.

In March, compared to the previous month, the prices of equipment for housing and current maintenance (1.7 percent), transport (1.5 percent), food and non-alcoholic beverages and restaurant and hotel services increased by 1.1 percent, while housing and health costs rose by 0.9 percent.

The fall in prices was recorded for services in the field of recreation and culture, as well as for clothing and footwear, Politika reports.
