Zora Energy plans to build the Ziman wind farm with a capacity of 180 MW in the municipality of Kučevo, according to the preliminary public review document for the Detailed Regulation Plan.
The area covered by the plan is located in the southeastern part of Kučevo, covering parts of the cadastral municipalities of Gložane, Neresnica and Bukovska. The planned area spans approximately 7,385 hectares.
The location intended for the wind farm consists of forest and agricultural land, both publicly owned by the Republic of Serbia and privately owned, as well as some construction land. Several unclassified roads pass through the planned area, which are designated as public land or construction land.
The Ziman wind farm is planned for hilly terrain, with the area for the wind farm chosen “in accordance with wind potential, topographical characteristics, sufficient distance from settlements, and outside areas of cultural and protected natural sites.”
The wind farm will include around 26 wind turbine towers, with a total capacity of around 180 MW at the connection point to the transmission network. The final design will be determined during the drafting phase of the planning document.
The wind turbine towers, including their blades, will reach up to 250 meters in height, with rotor diameters of up to 190 meters.
The plan is being prepared by Arhiplan from Aranđelovac, and the early public review will last until February 25.
