Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Gorenje Group President Franjo Bobinac signed in Valjevo, central Serbia, on Thursday a memorandum of cooperation between the Serbian government and the Slovenian household appliance maker envisioning investments worth 12 mln euros, expansion of production capacities and new employment.

Reflecting on the group’s 60 years of successful operations – including 10 in Serbia – Bobinac said nearly half of the company’s output came from outside of its hometown of Velenje, Slovenia, and mostly from Valjevo and the Czech Republic.
