Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic stated that the Budget Bill for 2013 envisages a lower budget deficit of 3.6% of GDP.

In an interview for today’s issue of Vecernje Novosti daily, Dinkic stressed that debt increase in 2013 will thus be halted, adding that the anticipated economic growth will be 2%.
The Minister explained that the budget will be restrictive and that it will mostly affect state organs at all levels.
He underlined that the budget for 2013 is a combination of saving on unnecessary expenses of red tape and the state apparatus on the one hand, and incentives to agriculture, infrastructure and economy on the other.
