He noted that Serbia will continue to implement programmes agreed with the IMF with very good grades.

I believe that we will be one of the strongest economies in the region in the coming years, Vucic declared.

The Prime Minister said that next Monday the IMF will present the estimate of Serbia’s economic growth, which according to his projections will be moved to zero from the original forecast of -1, and then -0.5.

The Prime Minister expressed his belief that Serbia, despite the measures of fiscal consolidation, will achieve a positive economic growth this year, noting that the examples of economies that score growth while applying fiscal consolidation measures are rare though.that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) recognises the good results that Serbia has achieved in fiscal consolidation reports the Government.
