Fiat and Zelezara Smederevo are leading exporters in Serbia

The top 15 exporters in Serbia exported a total of EUR 1.2 billion of merchandise in the first 4 months of 2015, with Fiat from Kragujevac leading the way with EUR 485.4 million in exports, followed by Zelezara Smederevo with EUR 114.8 million, the Ministry of Finance has stated.

The export from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles had a net value of EUR 159.5 million from January to April, and the total export in 2014 stood at EUR 1.36 billion, the ministry said.

Zelezara Smederevo is ranked second with EUR 114.8 million of exports in the first quarter of this year, and EUR 200.8 million in 2014.

Tigar Tyres from Pirot is ranked 3rd with EUR 93.4 million, followed by Naftna industrija Srbije with EUR 80.4 million and Tetrapak from Belgrade with EUR 61.2 million.

The remaining companies in the top 15 are: Hemofarm, Petrohemija, Gorenje, Philip Morris, Jura, Impol seval, Ball Packaging, Valjaonica bakra, Jugoimport SDPR and Grunfos from Indjija with EUR 28.5 million.
