Regional stability is very important, he stated, and Serbia is doing everything to keep it.

The Western Balkans can progress only if all of us work together. Serbia will continue to invest in regional stability. Our job is to work for our people, the Prime Minister reiterated.

At the end he wished welcome to all investors willing to invest in Serbia and ended his speech with the words: “Let Serbia arise”, referring to the closing words of Winston Churchill, who gave a speech at the same building in 1946, welcoming the unification of Europe, and exclaimed: “Let Europe arise!”

Swiss Ambassador to Serbia Jean-Daniel Ruch said that the amount of Swiss investment to Serbia in 2014 doubled against the same period of 2013.

Belgrade is a dynamic and modern city with educated people willing to work on building a good future for their country, Ruch stressed, adding that the Serbian government is determined to ensure the safe operations for foreign companies and attaches great importance to regional stability.

Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic, after his address at the business forum, answered many questions posed by representatives of Swiss companies.

During the afternoon, Vucic will meet with Swiss Secretary of State for Education, Research and Innovation Mauro Dell’Ambrogio and will tour the company Ernst Schweizer, which enjoys great reputation in the application of advanced training through the system of dual education.
