Ministers Sertic, Vujovic meet with Dutch investors

The Serbian Ministers of Economy and Finance, Zeljko Sertic and Dusan Vujovic, talked on Thursday with heads of global feed company Royal De Heus Group about the implementation of their investment in Serbia, worth USD 20 million.

The guests from the Netherlands presented the plans, according to which Royal De Heus Group will hire a total of 250 people and secure capacities for 350,000 tons of quality animal feed.

The Group will make this possible by investing in their company in Sabac and buying two more plants, the ministry of economy said in a release.

The owner and general manager of the company, Koen de Heus, said he was very satisfied with the excellent cooperation with the Serbian government.

Royal De Heus Group acquired the Sabac-based Proteinka last year, and has so far invested in it EUR 7.5 million and hired around 100 people.

President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marko Cadez and representatives of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) also took part in the meeting.
