“As in all parts of the world, the consequences of the global economic crisis are most visible in the construction sector. However, it is good news that after many years all parameters show that the investments, which were launched by the state, have helped the construction sector to start its exit from the crisis,” the minister sad.

He recalled that a new housing block is under construction in Belgrade’s municipality of Vozdovac at the place of former military barracks.

The Day of Construction Workers of Serbia is marked since 1940 when a massive strike of construction workers took place.
