Serbia adopts state-managed Oracle Cloud for databases

Supported byspot_img

The Office for Information Technology and e-Government of Serbia and Oracle, through certified partners, signed an agreement on the purchase of hardware and licenses that will enable the state administration to integrate, centralize and consolidate databases and software products. These include some of the most important records based in Serbia – register of citizens, identity cards, address data, system for data exchange within state bodies and many others. The centralization of the most important state IT systems is enabled by the State Oracle Cloud system. Thanks to this, Serbia became the first country in CEE and the second in Europe after the UK to establish state-owned Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
