Exchange of experience of Serbian and Russian auditors

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and President of the Russian Accounting Chamber Alexei Kudrin said that renewing the cooperation agreements between the two countries’ audit institutions and exchanging experience in the field would be of mutual interest and represent another step in the development of Serbian-Russian relations.

Alexei Kudrin, who is one of the world’s recognized economic experts in the world and long-time Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, emphasized that by implementing economic reforms Serbia has achieved remarkable results and achieved stability of its economy.

Kudrin expressed confidence that economic co-operation and trade between Serbia and Russia would continue to grow steadily in the coming years, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Ana Brnabic praised Kudrin’s “extraordinary commitment” to improving the work of the Accounting Chamber of the Russian Federation, success in the field of digitization and achieving a higher level of transparency.

The PM stressed that the exchange of experience and cooperation at the level of the two institutions would make a significant contribution to the overall development in this area, the statement said.

Kudrin emphasized that an important goal of the audit institution is to perfect the work of the state administration, and that digitization and the use of modern technologies have been recognized as an effective means of achieving these goals.

Kudrin said that audit institutions are also undergoing their technological revolution today, and that the exchange of experience and knowledge of experts from both countries is significant in this regard, RTS writes.
