Digital meetings of Serbian and Slovenian businessmen with partners in the world

In Ljubljana, the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez called on Slovenian and Serbian companies to maintain good business relations from the previous period even in the pandemic, to connect even more, trade and invest, but also to join the markets of other countries. The two chambers will help them. Supporting Serbian and Slovenian businessmen to more easily overcome the business challenges imposed by the current health crisis and make the best use of the reopening of economies to get jobs was the key topic of today’s meetings of Serbian Chamber presidents with colleagues from the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, said PKS.
“Our goal is to, in a situation when there are no opportunities for personal contacts of businessmen and organization of B2B conversations, when fairs are canceled and travel is limited, jointly engage resources at our disposal and establish a platform for digital meetings of Slovenian and Serbian companies with each other and potential partners, for example, from Germany, in front of which our companies would perform individually and together,” explained Cadez.
Business, as he pointed out, is slowly waking up, markets are returning to function and chambers of commerce must react quickly “so that our businessmen would not be left without jobs and markets, just because we did not think and help them in time.”
According to Cadez, “there is a solid basis in the good relations between the chambers and businessmen of the two countries, in the growing interest in cooperation which in recent years has been marked by record trade and exchange of services, excellent, profitable business of Slovenian companies in Serbia, investments of Serbian companies in Slovenia and better positioning of our products on the Slovenian market,” Beta reports.
