The deadline for early public insight into the Study for the amendment of the plan of general regulation of the Jastrebac picnic area, according to which the favorite picnic area of the people of Krusevac could get a ski resort, expired yesterday.
According to that plan, the favorite picnic spot of the people of Krusevac could get new contents for tourists, among which is the ski resort.
However, it remains unclear how many forests should be cut down in that area, because it is stated that Jastrebac is one of the most forested mountains in Serbia.
It is emphasized that among the goals is the activation of that space with the sustainable development of tourism and preservation of the environment.
Among the new contents are: ski slopes and ski trails, line infrastructure facility for transporting skiers, hangar for special machinery, signaling and safety equipment, training ground for beginners and transport installations.
It is stated that within those contents, those who have commercial and service activities can also be represented, among which are cafes, ski bars, ticket sales facilities, and sanitary blocks
Urban conditions will be determined on the basis of criteria and norms for a certain type of facilities.
It is also planned to build toboggan runs, ski bobsleighs, motorcycle skiing, downhill skiing, skeleton, snow games and ice rinks in winter, ie roller skating rink, bobsleigh on rails and bike park in summer.
The construction of accommodation facilities is planned in the central part of the picnic area, and parking at the entrance to the picnic area, along the ski slope and in front of the catering facilities.
The current tourist offer of the Jastrebac picnic area, about 20 kilometers away from Krusevac, mainly includes facilities around the artificial lake where hotels, restaurants, cottages and the Adventure Park were opened last year.
Amendments to the plan, prepared by the Public Company for Urbanism and Design Krusevac, plan to complete the tourist offer of one of the most forested mountains in Serbia.
The formation of a special camping zone is also planned, and the novelty will be the arrangement of forests in the area of the picnic area, which should become a park-forest for rest with lookouts, trim trails, health trails, etc.
What awaits old and future visitors are hotels, motels, apartments, restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, shops, souvenir shops.
It is also planned to form additional facilities for weekend housing, and the construction of public facilities, ambulances, pharmacies, and mountain rescue services is also planned, Nova Ekonomija reports.
