“At the session, the Government of Serbia will adopt the legal framework related to the second aid package for the economy, in order to mitigate the consequences of the corona virus epidemic,” announced the Minister of Finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali.
He stated for TV Pink that all businessmen who have already used the measures, who are entitled to them, will be automatically registered and do not have to report additionally.
According to him, economic entities that were established after March 15, ie those that were established by July 20, will also have the right to these measures.
Mali stated that the new package of measures provided 60 percent of the minimum wage for employees in August and September, and that companies would receive an additional month of deferred payment of taxes and contributions on wages.
“That is about 550 million euros of additional aid in August and September. The state aid is reflected in 155 euros for each employee,” the minister stated and reminded that the previous package of measures was used by 1,050,000 employees, 235,000 companies.
He states that individuals, as well as companies, will have a moratorium on loan payments for another two months.
The first package of measures was 5.1 billion euros and included three minimum salaries for employees, 100 euros for all adult citizens, and loans from the Development Fund, RTV reports.
