No offer was received for the public invitation for the purchase of the Sava Center, it was confirmed to eKapija in the City Administration of the City of Belgrade.
Delta Holding also gave up on the purchase, a buyer who seems to have been the most serious, because, as they point out, under the existing conditions, such an investment is unprofitable.
Let us remind you, at the beginning of the month, the City of Belgrade announced a tender for the sale of the Sava Center, and the starting price of the real estate was 27.4 euros.
The advertisement states the obligation of the buyer to pay the entire amount of the purchase price within five years from the day and to perform construction and craft works on adaptation and reconstruction, the total value of which cannot be lower than 50 million euros.
The buyer would also undertake not to change the purpose, ie that the facility will remain in the function of congress tourism, bearing in mind that the Sava Center enjoys the status of prior protection.
By the way, the sale of the Sava Center was announced in November last year, and the City started looking for a partner for the first time in 2016, when a public call for the establishment of a joint company was announced, eKapija reports.
