Innovative technologies are an area that is conquering the market in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it was said in a conversation between the mayor of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, and Marko Selakovic, who heads the office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce based in Dubai.
– The field of information technologies is interesting and that country has recognized Serbia as a partner in the IT sector – said Selakovic, and it is stated on the website of the City of Nis.
He added that they are interested in our agricultural products in the Emirates and that we ourselves have to work harder on their branding so that these products, with the organized performance of producers, would be recognizable to the buyer in that country.
The interlocutors stated that Nis is a city that is interesting for investors, even those from the Emirates in the field of sustainable development.
Selakovic reminded that there is an agreement with free zones in the Emirates and that domestic companies can use this advantage in their business in that part of the world.
The conversation was attended by the President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Aleksandar Milicevic, the President of the Municipality of Pantelej, Natasa Stankovic, and the Head of the Office for Local Economic Development and Planning, Dusan Radivojevic, eKapija reports.
