The city municipality of Obrenovac announced on the official Facebook profile what the shopping center whose construction has recently started in this part of the capital will look like.
As previously announced by the director of the company “RC Europe”, Michael Augustine, the shopping center is expected to open in May next year.
“We are glad that with this investment, Obrenovac and its surroundings will get an additional 250, maybe 300 new jobs,” Augustine said at the laying of the foundation stone.
On that occasion, the President of the Municipality of Obrenovac, Miroslav Cuckovic, expressed his satisfaction with the construction of the shopping center, stating that in that way he continues with a series of fulfilled promises in Obrenovac.
“The locomotive of Belgrade’s development is right here, and I am especially happy that there is no construction machine of any kind that is not employed in Obrenovac,” said Cuckovic.
He posted photos from the field on his Twitter profile, commenting that Obrenovac is the largest construction site in Serbia.
Let us remind you, the cornerstone for the new shopping center was laid the day before yesterday, and the plan is for it to have about 8,300 square meters, 20 shops and about 200 parking spaces, B92 reports.
