Today, at the meeting with the Ambassador of Austria, Nikolaus Luteroti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic, assessed that the relations between the two countries are very good and that Serbia is ready to offer favorable business conditions to Austrian investors.
Selakovic pointed out that the economic cooperation between the two countries is good, but that there is room for its further improvement, it is stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
“It is in our interest for bilateral relations with Austria to be constantly improved, and that is why we are making a great effort to recognize Serbia as a reliable, responsible and predictable partner in the Western Balkans region,” said Minister Selakovic.
He thanked Austria for its support in European integration and assessed that Serbia is interested in improving the process of negotiations with the EU, which, in his opinion, have not been going as fast as expected.
Ambassador Luteroti handed Selakovic a congratulatory message sent to him by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Schallenberg, on the occasion of taking office as the head of Serbian diplomacy.
On this occasion, the Serbian Foreign Minister also expressed his deepest regret to the Austrian ambassador for the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Vienna, and said that Serbia stands by Austria in these difficult moments, when we face the threat to the basic values of the modern civilized world, Danas reports.
