Chinese investors interested in logistics center in Serbia

The Serbian food industry is a branch that has great potential to place its products on the Chinese market and increase trade with China, said Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic in a conversation with Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo, the Ministry of Trade announced.
Regarding the interest of Chinese companies in building a logistics center in Serbia, Ambassador Chen Bo confirmed that Serbia should be a distribution center in the region and announced that she would work on presenting potential investors in order to increase production capacities in Serbia.
When it comes to tourism, the two interlocutors pointed out that it is necessary to continue promoting the tourist offer of Serbia, in order to return the results before the pandemic. At that time, Chinese tourists were the most numerous foreign tourists in our country.
Matic and Chen Bo agreed that it is necessary to continue cooperation in the field of telecommunications, together with the development of the online payment system and joint work on infrastructure projects, reports Tanjug.
