Corridor 10 highway will be finished by 2015

The complete Corridor 10 highway through Serbia will be finished by the end of 2015, General Manager of Corridors of Serbia Mihajlo Misic stated on Tuesday.

He told a press conference that the eastern branch of Corridor 10, from Nis to Dimitrovgrad, will be finished by the end of 2014, and the southern, from Leskovac towards the Macedonian border, by the end of 2015, and added that the works may be finished earlier.

Misic said that the section of the eastern branch from Pirot to Dimitrovgrad is being worked on intensively, and that preparations or tenders are underway on the remaining sections towards Nis.

He also said that the section of the southern branch between Vranje and Bujanovac is also being worked on.

Misic stressed that intensive works are also carried out on the Belgrade bypass.

Director General of the PE Roads of Serbia Zoran Drobnjak said that the whole bypass around Belgrade should be completed by end 2013.
