Excellent cooperation between Serbia and the European Investment Bank

Today, the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic received the director of the Regional Office of the European Investment Bank for the Western Balkans, Dubravka Negra, in a farewell visit and said that many important projects in Serbia have been realized in the past four years thanks to good cooperation with the EIB and personal engagement of Negre.
Significant progress has been made in a number of areas, Brnabic said, citing the most significant in the areas of education, health, science and transport infrastructure.
With Negre’s gratitude for the excellent cooperation, the Prime Minister especially emphasized the construction of science and technology parks in Nis and Novi Sad, as well as the project of a connected school.
Director Negre emphasized that it is very important for the EIB that they are recognized in Serbia as reliable partners for key strategic projects, and especially singled out investment in the Serbian health system, which enabled the reconstruction of over twenty regional hospitals and the Nis Clinical Center.
Negre thanked Prime Minister Brnabic for her support and trust, expressing hope that good cooperation will continue in the future, according to a statement from the Government of Serbia, RTV reports.
