Additional benefits for passengers of the Serbian national airline.
In order to create additional opportunities for its passengers, Air Serbia has entered into a partnership with two brands that operate within the world’s largest online travel platform, Booking Holdings. Thanks to this new partnership and integrated services on the Air Serbia website, passengers will be able to book accommodation through Booking.com, which allows them access to a database of over 28 million accommodation units, and will be able to rent a car through Rentalcars.com, with options to pick up vehicles at over 60,000 locations worldwide.
Thanks to the conclusion of this partnership, from January 2021, passengers will be able to organize their entire trip through the site airserbia.com – from booking a flight, through booking accommodation to renting a vehicle.
“We are very pleased to have partnered with two leading brands in the travel industry, Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, by joining some of the largest European and global airlines that are their partners. I am convinced that this cooperation will further strengthen our position and, which is especially important to us, enable greater flexibility and save time for our passengers when planning a trip,” said Jiri Marek, Director for Commercial and Strategy of Air Serbia.
Additional services for passengers are available through banners on the home page of the Air Serbia website as well as in the section “Other additional services” on the page “Additional services”.
Passengers who purchase a ticket through airserbia.com also get access to these service options on the confirmation page or through the “My Booking” section.
“We know that the passenger transport sector is facing great challenges at the moment, but when people can travel en masse again, we want to make sure that it is as simple and easy as possible. We are looking forward to this cooperation with Air Serbia, which will provide the new audience of passengers with an indisputable choice and value for which we are known on the platforms Booking.com and Rentalcars.com. This cooperation will enable passengers to book more elements of their trip, whether it is a great apartment in the city for a weekend vacation in the future or a larger vehicle for a summer trip with the family,” said Xaver Fluitman, director of partnerships at Booking.com.
In order to mark the beginning of cooperation, Air Serbia passengers who book accommodation on Booking.com through the website airserbia.com until March 31, 2021, receive a 20 percent discount for stays until March 31, 2021, Kamatica reports.
