He said on TV Prva that Serbia has successfully stopped the spread of African swine fever, which has been identified in domestic and wild pigs in the area of Pirot and Bor districts.
“And we stopped it there, we managed to repair it, we don’t have big problems today,” the minister said.
He stated that conditions have been created for beef and eggs to leave Serbia for larger markets.

The Minister says that they are working on 49 projects for irrigation systems in Vojvodina and central Serbia.
“This is a time of serious climate change. The essence is to have as much water as possible, because that means higher product quality and yield, as well as higher earnings,” the minister said.
He says that around 850 thousand euros will be invested in the development of the irrigation system, including Fruska gora.
He says that the Government of Serbia made a decision yesterday to send 5.08 million euros to the areas of local self-governments endangered by floods.
He announced that soon the adoption of regulations related to the processing of fruits, vegetables and meat, and in April or May, regulations on the regulation of the market of agricultural products.
He says that he also expects the issue of pensions for farmers to be resolved.
