In an interview with the Russian daily “Kommersant”, the General Director of Gazprom Energoholding, Denis Fedorov, also referred yesterday to the projects concerning Serbia.
To the conclusion that in the previous strategy there were big plans for expansion to foreign markets, but that now only Serbia remained and what is the reason for that, he says “for now only Serbia is in the active phase”
– There are several projects that we are actively discussing, developing feasibility studies. But there are no striking projects at the moment.
And when it comes to the completion of the construction of the thermal power plant in Pancevo and whether there are penalties for delays, he answers that there are no penalties.
– We will do everything to put the station into operation by the middle of the year. The delay was due to coronavirus restrictions in Serbia and China. Gazprom Energoholding is considering three more projects of similar capacity. We see good potential in the project of a windmill with a capacity of about 200 megawatts, which is why it is necessary to finally meet with Serbian colleagues and discuss this issue, Politika reports.
