For another couple of months to half a year, the help of the state is necessary in order for the economy to withstand and preserve production capacities and the level of employment, the Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali pointed out last night.
He told RTS that the Serbian economy would open up then, as well as others, stating that Serbia “will certainly be a few steps ahead”.
He reminded that Serbia ended last year with the smallest drop in GDP in Europe and that on average, especially in December, it had a higher growth rate of the industry than in 2019.
– That could not have happened if there were no measures, responsible economic policies and if we had not reacted properly with timely comprehensive measures – Mali pointed out, Novosti reports.
