The ministers of economy of Serbia and Republika Srpska are negotiating joint projects

The Minister of Economy, Andjelka Atanaskovic, talked today with the Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vjekoslav Petricevic, about potential cooperation and future projects of common interest.

Minister Atanaskovic pointed out that during the meeting, topics were raised that were current before, but were not fully realized.

“We had a constructive conversation, during which concrete steps in the implementation of plans were agreed. We will help our friends from Republika Srpska in the realization of projects in various areas,” Atanaskovic said.

It was stated at the meeting that Serbia is a good example when it comes to the growth and development of the economy.

“For the arrival of investors, the development of infrastructure is of great importance. Roads are being built in Serbia, factories are being opened, we have become interesting for foreign investors. I believe that we can help Srpska with our example,” Atanaskovic said.

Minister Petricevic thanked the Government of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic for the assistance they provide to the Republika Srpska.

He pointed out that the Law on Free Zones was drafted in Srpska, following the example of Serbia, which is extremely important for the development of the economy.

According to him, the possibility of training and mentoring for projects by experts in Serbia is of great importance.

The interlocutors expressed interest and intention for the joint growth and development of Serbia and Republika Srpska, RTV reports.
